For travelers who will be staying in the downtown Miami area, there is plenty to see and do. The traffic in the downtown area is often quite heavy, but there is no need to drive. The free Metromover trams cover a long area from the Brickell financial district on the south side of the Miami River to the Omni Center on north side.
